Greeley, a senior pole vaulter for the Tigers, recorded a mark of 18'1" at the Virginia Tech Elite meet in Blacksburg, Va., this past weekend. With the performance, the Rock Hill, S.C., native became Clemson's third automatic qualifier for the NCAA Indoor Championships this season, improved his existing school record, and moved to No. 1 in the nation in the event. Greeley's 18'1" mark is just a quarter inch shy of the ACC's all-time record. The Seminole's Williams took first-place in the triple jump at the New Balance Armory Invitational in New York, N.Y., with a jump of 45'0.25". Her mark set a new school indoor record, and furthered her automatic qualifying performance from earlier in the year. Williams, a freshman from Kingston, Jamaica, holds the ACC's best 2008 triple jump performance by nearly two feet, and also has the nation's best mark of the year. Both Clemson and Florida State will again be in action this weekend when they travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Tyson Invitational. Clemson will also compete at the Tiger Invitational in Clemson, S.C.
