March 26, 2008 Danowski Joins Exclusive 150-150 Club As No. 3 Duke Downs Harvard, 10-3 DURHAM, N.C. - Matt Danowski posted three goals and three assists to become just the third player in NCAA history to register 150 goals and 150 assists in a career as third-ranked Duke defeated Harvard, 10-3, in men's college lacrosse action on Tuesday night at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C. The Blue Devils, who scored 10 consecutive goals while holding the Crimson scoreless for 50:57, improve to 9-1 on the year while Harvard falls to 4-3. With three goals and three assists on the night, Danowski pushed his career totals to 151 goals and 153 assists to join Air Force's Joe Vasta (173 goals & 170 assists) and Syracuse's Michael Powell (150 goals & 157 assists) as the only players to reach the 150-150 plateau. Danowski, who led the nation in total points in both 2005 and 2007, currently leads the country in scoring with 48 total points on 22 goals and 26 assists. Danowski also became just the sixth player to reach the 300-point plateau in a career. He currently sits in sixth place on the NCAA's all-time scoring chart with 304 points, 39 points shy of Vasta's career record of 343 points. Playing in their 54th career victory, Danowski, Tony McDevitt, Nick O'Hara and Michael Ward moved into a tie for eighth place on the NCAA's all-time win chart.
