COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Three Terrapin women's basketball players were named to Sports Illustrated's 2008 All-America team. Led by junior Kristi Toliver, who was named to the first team, no other team in the nation had more than one player named selected. Senior Crystal Langhorne and junior Marissa Coleman were second team picks.

In her most productive season as a Terrapin to date, junior Kristi Toliver (Harrisonburg, Va./Harrisonburg) is averaging a team-high 16.8 points and a league-high 7.5 assists per game. She has 248 assists overall, just one short of the program's all-time season record. Toliver is a two-time All-ACC pick, receiving third-team honors as a sophomore, and was named to the first team this season. She is currently a finalist for the Nancy Lieberman Award, which is presented annually to the nation's top point guard.

A two-time All-American, senior Crystal Langhorne (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) was this year's ACC Player of the Year and was voted to the All-ACC squad for a fourth-consecutive season. As the program's all-time scoring and rebounding leader, she is the only player in Terrapin basketball history, men's or women's, to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds. This season, she is averaging 16.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, both of which rank in the top five in the ACC.

Averaging 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, junior Marissa Coleman (Cheltenham, Md./St. John's College [D.C.]) was named to the All-ACC second team for a third-straight year, making her only the fourth Terp to garner all-conference honors three times. As Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American last season, she is one of the most versatile players in the country, becoming only the third player in ACC history to accumulate 1,000 points, 700 rebounds, 300 assists and 100 blocks in a career.
