March 3, 2008 Pittsburg, PA - Adelphi Swimming traveled to Pittsburg, PA to compete in the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship meet. The Panthers put four athletes into the finals and placed two in the top 20, including a third place finish by Zachary Terzano in the 200-Yard Freestyle. For their efforts, the Brown and Gold finished in 19th place as a team out of a field of 26 teams. Highlighting the men's competition was Terzano, who picked up a third place in the 200-free with a time of 1:41.88, 0.79 seconds off from qualifying for NCAA's. Freshman Alex Griffith also had a strong showing in the 400-IM's with a 14th place finish in a time of 4:17.59. In the relays, the Panthers' 800-yard freestyle team of Terzano, Tory Cozzi, Griffith and Brendan Berry had the strongest finish of the weekend with a 12th place finish in a time of 7:10.69.
