Rindg, NH - Adelphi University is selected to finish second in the NCAA Division II Northeast Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association as announced on Monday February 11. Franklin Pierce University is the unanimous top choice in the NCBWA poll. Franklin Pierce, the defending Northeast Region and Northeast-10 regular season and tournament champions, received all nine first place votes by the committee. East Coast Conference regular season and tournament champion Adelphi University was picked second with 73 points. Northeast region and NE-10 Tournament runners-up Bryant University is third, followed by the University of Massachusetts Lowell in fourth and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champions Caldwell College rounds out the top five.
