Ray Named Inside Lacrosse Division II Player of the Week

Garden City, NY - Junior Rachel Ray has been named Inside Lacrosse's Division II Nike Player of the Week for March 17. This is Ray's first time receiving this honor.

Ray led the Panthers to a 14-12 victory over the Mercyhurst College Lakers with three goals and five assists. Ray also picked up four ground balls in the winning effort. She currently leads the Brown and Gold with 23 points for the season and leads the East Coast Conference (ECC) in assists and points per game.

Rachel Ray and Adelphi University Women's Lacrosse will return to action March 22, when they travel to Lakewood, New Jersey, to take on the Georgian Court Lions at 12:00 p.m.
