MARION, Ind. - Allison Lofgren turned in the best all-around day on the women's side for Adrian College placing in the top 10 in three events. She was ninth in the 200 meter dash (29.53), eighth in the long jump (15'9.75") and tied for third in the high jump clearing 4'5" and earning 5.5 team points.

Caitlin Dickerson competed in two events and placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 34'6.75" while finishing 14th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 33.09. Liesle Travis competed in the mile run and ran the event in a time of 6:08.29. Kelly Griffin and Jeanine Carpenter ran the 3,000 meters and finished 11th and 12th respectively. Amy Erzen also competed in the shot put and placed ninth with a throw of 21'4.75".

Ian Thornton had good showings on the men's side in the sprint events. He was sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.29 and earned three team points. He also finished seventh in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.23 and earned two points for the Bulldogs.

Jason Sweeney crossed the line in ninth place in the 400 meters with a time of 55.44 and was one spot out of the team points. Jay Yockey and Joe Hart competed in the mile run and earned a combined nine points. Yockey ran the event in 4:44.15 while Hart was close behind at 4:53.72. Chris Elsey placed third in the 800 meters and ran the event in 1:57.86.

Bob Palmer and Tim Storm both finished in the points in the 5,000 meters as Palmer ran 16:09.05 and Storm ran 16:49.61. The relay team of Patrick Reagan, Desmond Upshaw, Justyn Bensett and Chris Calley finished fourth in the 4x400 with a time of 3:36.38. Mark Chung placed eighth in the pole vault reaching a height of 11'6". Mike Arnett had the best individual performance on the men's side placing second in the shot put with a toss of 45'3.75". Jeff Boyce claimed fourth in the same event with a throw of 44'5.5". Boyce also claimed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 34'0.25".
