Complete Results

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The track & field squads sent several representatives to the Ferris State Open on Saturday and the results looked good against other higher level schools which competed.

Lindsay Chitwood ran in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.89 and finished 29th overall. Chelsey Berlin took 13th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 11:47.44. Lucie Smith placed 16th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:19.26. The 4x100 relay quartet placed eighth in the event with a time of 56.71. Allison Lofgren claimed 14th in the long jump with a distance of 14-8. Caitlin Dickerson tossed the shot 35-4.5 and came in 20th place. Alison Hedgcock threw the javelin a distance of 72-11 which gave her 25th place.

Ian Thornton placed 11th in the 100 dash with a time of 11.50 in the second heat. Kameron Bouchard placed 12th in the same event just .04 behind Thornton. Chris Calley placed fourth in the 200 dash with a time of 22.49 and was .38 behind first place. Chris Elsey placed 14th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:10.08. Justin Kulman placed ninth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.44. Bob Palmer ran a time of 10:00.18 in the 3,000 steeplechase and claimed fifth. Mike Arnett placed 11th in the shot put with a toss of 45-7. Dave Hartford competed in the javelin and took 10th with a throw of 136-9.
