HILLSDALE, Mich. - The track and field teams hit the surface at Hillsdale College for the second day of the Gina Relays on Saturday. Both squads turned in good performances and will now look to make some noise during the MIAA Field Day at Alma College.

Justyn Bensett placed ninth in the javelin with a throw of 160'2" and also placed 35th in the 100 dash with a time of 11.84. The 4x100 relay team placed ninth with a time of 43.19. The team consisted of Patrick Reagan, Desmond Upshaw, Ian Thornton and Chris Calley.

Kameron Bouchard took 20th in the 100 dash with a time of 11.52. Calley also fared very well in the 200 dash with a time of 22.52. Upshaw ran a time of 22.85 in the 200 dash and placed 19th. Kourtney Price brought home 31st in the 400 meters with a time of 51.90. Justin Kulman placed 22nd in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.87.

Allison Lofgren placed 27th in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.21. Caitlin Dickerson tossed the javelin a distance of 93'6" and finished 25th. Lindsay Chitwood competed in the 100 dash and was 43rd with a time of 13.68. Lucie Smith took 50th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:41.58. Brianna Davis placed 34th in the discus with a throw of 95'10".
