HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The doubles play for the Bulldogs showed improvement giving the team a 2-1 lead but the ladies dropped a 5-4 decision to Saint Vincent in their final spring trip match. Lindsey Eshelman and Katelyn Simcina teamed together for an 8-4 win at one doubles over Kim Meier and Meghan Wells. Katie MacFarlan and Robyn Bahr were also winners at two doubles with an 8-3 victory over Brittany Vignero and Sarah Rendulic. Emily Brede and Leeann Brooks dropped an 8-5 decision at three doubles.

Brede won her singles match in the sixth slot with a three-set win over Rebecca Cronauer (3-6, 6-3, 6-0). Brooks also earned a team point at five singles with a straight set (6-3, 6-4) win over Ashley Nord. Bahr nearly pulled off a win at three singles going three sets with Meier before falling 2-6, 6-3, 6-0.
