ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match inside the Merillat Center on Tuesday afternoon against Kalamazoo. The Bulldogs did not win a set against the Hornets but kept the match competitive as they now are 2-7 overall and 0-2 in the MIAA. Lindsey Eshelman and Katelyn Simcina played one doubles once again but could not figure out their opponent in an 8-4 defeat. Katie MacFarlan and Robyn Bahr dropped an 8-1 decision at two doubles. Chrissy Kuss and Emily Brede also fell 8-4 at three doubles. Bahr had the closest matchup at three singles in a 6-3, 6-4 score against Mary Atallah of the Hornets. Eshelman and Simcina had identical 6-2, 6-2 scores at one and two singles respectively. |
