USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Backed by top-eight finishes on the still rings and in the all-around at this past weekend's NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships, Air Force senior Greg Stine claimed NCAA All-America status. In addition to becoming the program's first All-American since 1993, he is the first-ever recipient of multiple NCAA certificates.

Stine becomes the eighth Air Force gymnast in program history to earn All-America honors at the NCAA Championships and the first since Tim Hess (floor exercise) in 1993. He is the first-ever all-around All-American and the second still rings recipient (Joel Miller, 1992) in Academy history.

The Falcons' other All-Americans include Jim Weaver (trampoline, 1962), Doug Reynolds (tumbling, 1964), Terry Higgins (parallel bars, 1966), Bill Ritter (floor exercise, 1972) and John Tomich (vault, 1973).

Stine wrapped up a stellar career as the most decorated gymnasts in the program's 52-year history.

In addition to becoming the only two-time NCAA All-American, Stine earned more USAG All-America accolades (15) than any other gymnast. He won seven USAG national titles, including three in the all-around. The recipient of the 2008 USAG Top Senior Award, Stine earned numerous `Gymnast of the Week' awards from the College Gymnastics Association and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

During his senior campaign, he posted 29 first-place finishes and set six of the seven Academy records (using the new scoring system that went into effect prior to the start of the 2008 season).
