As a means of staying in "game shape" prior to the playoffs, the Alaska Nanooks hockey team will play an intrasquad scrimmage tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. at the Carlson Center in lieu of practice. The scrimmage is open to the public and all community members are invited to attend free of charge, though the UAF Student-Athlete Advisory Council will be on hand accepting donations.

The Nanooks will be divided into two teams and scrimmage without referees for two 30-minute periods. Prior to the start of the scrimmage, there will be a "Skate with the Nanooks" from 7-7:20 p.m. The scrimmage will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.

The Carlson Center will have one concession stand open with snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Fans in attendance will also get the first opportunity to view the four final drafts of the 2008 hockey tournament logo and cast their votes. For those fans that wish to vote but will be unable to attend Wednesday's hockey scrimmage, the ballots and logos will be available at all remaining Alaska Nanook home events (women's basketball games this Thursday and Saturday and men's basketball next Thursday and Saturday).
