March 27, 2008 Birmingham, Ala. - A&M took an early 2-0 lead in the second, but could not sustain the momentum as the Blazers of UAB battled back for the 7-2 win at Young Memorial Field in Birmingham, Ala. AAMU was led by Demarcus Stewart who went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Alton Ellison also drove in an RBI for the Bulldogs. For UAB, Luke Stewart went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in. The Bulldogs resume conference play on Saturday March 26 when they host Mississippi Valley for a twin bill. First pitch is set for 11 a.m.
