Two big offensive innings for UAB doomed Alabama A&M on Tuesday as the Blazers scored six runs in each the fifth and seventh innings to defeat A&M 15-2 at Bulldog Field. Turner Washington highlighted the Bulldogs attack with three hits, an RBI, and a run scored. Jerome Brown also had an RBI triple and was thrown out at home plate trying to stretch the play into an inside-the-park homerun. Kevin Collins took the loss for A&M on the mound. A.J. Campbell worked two scoreless innings in the starting role for AAMU. Collins replaced him in the third and gave up one run in two innings of work.
