UAB Returns to the Track at Meyo Invitational

Blazers have several high marks after four meets this season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB track and field team returns to full competition this weekend at the 21st Annual Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.

The two-day competition will begin Friday at 5 p.m. and concluded Saturday at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Headed into the meet the Blazers have several athletes and relay teams that have posted high marks in Conference USA this season. Included in that list are the second fastest times in the 4x400-meter relay and distance medley relay.

The last full meet the Blazers competed in was the Niswonger Invitiational Jan. 18-19 in Johnson City, Tenn. UAB was able to pick up eight three top finishes at the meet.
