104th EIWA Tournament Brackets ![]()

Lancaster, Pa. - The 104th EIWA Tournament brackets have been announced and the American University wrestling team has received three top-two seeds. No. 1 Josh Glenn has been seeded first at 197 lbs. while No. 6 Mike Cannon and Kyle Borshoff have been seeded second at 165 lbs. and 141 lbs., respectively.
Glenn received the top seed at 197 lbs. after posting a 12-0 record this season. Glenn, the weight class' defending NCAA National Champion, has won 35 consecutive matches dating back to December of 2006 and is seeking his third consecutive EIWA Championship. Glenn has a bye in the first round and will face the winner of Matthew Parsons, Navy, and William Colgan, Harvard, in the second round.
Cannon was tabbed as the second seed at 165 lbs. after tying with Cornell's Mack Lewnes for the No. 1 seed in the pre-seeding voting. Cannon is 22-2 this season and looking for his first EIWA Championships after placing second last year. Cannon's first match will be against Christopher Grill of Army.
Borshoff received the second seed at 141 lbs. after posting a 22-6 record this season. Matthew Kyler of the U.S. Military Academy was given the weight class' top seed. Borshoff placed fourth at last year's tournament. Borshoff will take the mat first against Joey Breen from Navy.
Other AU wrestlers to receive top seedings at the tournament were 157-pounder Christopher Stout who was seeded fifth, 125-pounder Jasen Borshoff who was seeded 6th and 133-pounder Matt Mariacher who was seeded eighth.
The 104th EIWA Championships begin today, March 8, at Franklin & Marshall College at 10:30 p.m. Eagles fans who were not able to make the trip to Lancaster, Pa., can watch all of the action live on the internet by clicking here.
