Andrew Wins Consolation Final in 100 Free at NCAA Championships

The NCAA Women's Swimming Championships concluded with the Sun Devils finishing 17th overall with 59 points. Senior Caitlin Andrew ended her collegiate career by winning the 100 free consolation final. Andrew clocked in a time of 48.65 to move up seven spots from the preliminaries.

The 400 free relay team of Andrew, Jen Beckberger, Lindsey Brown and Jess Perazzo finished third in the consolation final and eleventh overall. The team clocked in a time of 3:16.7.

Although she did not qualify for the finals, Ashton Aubry clocked in ASU's second fastest 200 fly time. The sophomore touched in at 1:58.13 to move herself up one spot on ASU's all-time list.

The Sun Devil men head to Federal Way, Wash., next week to compete in the NCAA Championships. The meet begins March 27 and concludes March 29.
