School Record 15 Sun Devils Selected In 2008 Major League Baseball Draft

TEMPE, Ariz. - A school record 15 Arizona State Sun Devils were drafted in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft, including two First Rounders. Brett Wallace went #13 overall to the St. Louis Cardinals, while Ike Davis went #18 overall to the New York Mets. Wallace and Davis are the sixth set of Sun Devil teammates to be picked in the first round of the draft, and the first since Ryan Bradley and Dan McKinley in 1997. Travis Buck was the last Sun Devil to go in the first round, going 36th overall in the 2005 draft to the Oakland Athletics.
