No. 7 Water Polo Defeats CS San Bernardino, 11-3, at ASU Invitational

TEMPE, Ariz. - Angela Salgado scored her first collegiate goal and Caylinn Wallace recorded 17 saves in goal as the No. 7 Arizona State University water polo team defeated the Coyotes of CS San Bernardino, 11-3, Saturday afternoon at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center in Tempe. The win pushes the Sun Devils' record to 15-9 on the year.

Wallace, who has recorded 15 or more saves in four of her last five games, brought her career total to 992, needing just eight more to crack 1,000 for her career. The senior netminder shut out the Coyotes through the first half of play before allowing three goals in the third stanza.

Along with Salgado's goal, Kelly Phelps netted four goals to pace the offense. More information on the scoring in the game will be available later.

The Sun Devils will play twice more on Sunday, facing Cal Baptist at 10:20 a.m. and No. 19 UC San Diego at 2:20 p.m.
