Charlotte junior righthander Sam Pierce (Davidson, N.C.) earned saves in three of the 49ers' four victories on the week. Pierce has fanned 19 in 19.2 innings pitched on the year. Charlotte has won its last 13 series in Atlantic 10 play, including eight sweeps during that span. In addition, the 49ers have scored 66 runs this season with two outs.

Senior outfielder Kevin Miller's (Indianapolis, Ind.) bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth innings gave Dayton a 2-1 win over Rhode Island on Mar. 29. The victory marked the second time this season that the Flyers tallied the winning run in the ninth inning. Junior righthander Sean Finn (Marion, Ill.) tossed five innings of shutout relief in Dayton's 2-0 setback to Rhode Island on Mar. 29 in the final game of its series.

Freshman reliever Grant Gillespie (Denver, Colo.) allowed just two hits over four scoreless innings to earn his second win in A-10 play as Duquesne downed St. Bonaventure on Mar. 30, 13-2. The Dukes have won ten consecutive games, the third-longest active winning streak in the nation.

Fordham senior Chris Kaible (Wantagh, N.Y.) went 2-for-5 with a double and a homer and pitched two innings of scoreless relief in Fordham's 7-6 victory at Saint Louis on Mar. 28. It marked the righthander's first win of the season.

Junior righthander Pat Lehman (Fair Lawn, N.J.) registered a career-high ten strikeouts over 7.2 innings to improve to 4-0 on the season as George Washington edged Richmond on Mar. 30, 6-5. The Colonials' 17-5 win at No. 15 Virginia on Mar. 26 marked the program's first victory over UVA in 20 years.

La Salle junior righty Drew Gerhart (Richboro, Pa.) allowed three runs over 7.2 innings as the Explorers dropped a 4-2 decision to Charlotte on Mar. 30. Sophomore centerfielder John Malloy (Fairless Hills, Pa.) has reached base in all 22 games played this season.

Freshman outfielder Kyle Multner (Peabody, Mass.) cracked three home runs and scored eight runs over six contests on the week for Massachusetts. Junior southpaw Mitchell Clegg (Woburn, Mass.) yielded one run over eight innings in the Minutemen's 7-1 win over Xavier on Mar. 29 for his first victory of the season.

Freshman outfielder Tom Coulombe (Lincoln, R.I.) had three multi-hit performances over five contests on the week. Sophomore southpaw Nick Greenwood (Southington, Conn.) fanned eight over eight shutout innings as Rhode Island edged Dayton, 2-0, in the final game of a three-game series on Mar. 29.

Richmond sophomore lefthander Matt Zielinski (Southampton, Pa.) tossed 6.1 shutout innings to improve to 2-0 on the year as Richmond blanked George Washington on Mar. 29, 1-0. The Spiders begin a nine-game road trip with a visit to Virginia Military Institute on Apr. 1.

St. Bonaventure senior lefthander Cody Vincent (Russell, Pa.) yielded one run over 6.2 innings on Mar. 29 as the Bonnies dropped a 3-2 decision at Duquesne. Senior designated hitter Josh Sova (Lockport, N.Y.) had a pair of multi-hit games versus the Dukes.

Saint Joseph's senior outfielder Jeremy Jakubowski (Jarrettsville, Md.) had his team-leading ninth multi-hit performance in the Hawks' 9-6 loss to Temple on Mar. 30. Jakubowski collected three extra-base hits while batting .417 in the weekend series versus the Owls.

Saint Louis sophomore righthander Zach Outman (St. Louis, Mo.) earned a pair of wins on the week, allowing three earned runs over nine innings while striking out five. The Billikens' 10-8 victory over Fordham on Mar. 28 marked the 500th career victory for first-year head coach Darin Hendrickson.

Freshman righthander Ben White (Parkesburg, Pa.) struck out a career-high 11 over six shutout innings as Temple downed Saint Joseph's on Mar. 28, 13-2. Ten of White's final 13 outs recorded came via the strikeout. The Owls' 5-1 start in A-10 play matches their best record after six contests since 2001.

Xavier sophomore second baseman Drew Schmidt (Cincinnati, Ohio) batted 10-for-26 with four runs scored on the week. Sophomore lefty Danny Rosenbaum (Loveland, Ohio) yielded two runs over six solid innings in the Musketeers' 3-2 win at Massachusetts on Mar. 30 in the final game of a three-game series.
