Clark Griffin League
After some bad weather caused havoc on the CGL, we are happy to report that stats are up and available on the league website (though a little behind) and a quick looks shows us that Chris O'Neil has put together a 4.50 ERA in 6.0 innings while Rus Harper has is 0-1 in two starts, both playing for the Fairfax Nationals ... However, Harper had a fine outing in the first game of a double-header on Monday which is not included in the stats, picking up a win ... Fairfax is 9-5, second in the league.

New England Collegiate League
The word out of Roswell, Ga., is that David Cunningham will join the Newport Gulls of the New England Collegiate League over the next week ... Newport is leading the Southern Division at 6-4.

Valley League
Jon Luke Jacobs continue to sizzle for the Fauquier Gators, lowering his ERA by almost a half-run to an astounding 1.29 with a 2-1 record in seven relief outings ... Jacobs picked up the win in last Friday's 5-2 victory over Waynesboro, throwing three shutout innings and fanning seven ... He followed that up by ringing up the only two hitters he faced in Sunday's game to bring his strikeout total to a whopping 23 on the year, the most on the Fauquier staff, while issuing just four base on balls ... Bradley Ray and the Front Royal Cardinals are on a five-game losing streak but Ray was able to raise his batting average ever so slightly to .262 with a 4-for-13 (.307) week, belting his first home run of the summer in a 5-3 loss on Saturday ... Fauquier is 10-6 and second in the North Division ... Front Royal is 8-12, fourth in the North.

Sunbelt League
Thanks to some assistance, we learned that Ty Kelley threw twice over the weekend for Norcross, earning a save on Friday by registering the final out after entering with the tying run on first ... He then started the second game on a doubleheader on Saturday, throwing four innings and striking out six without issuing a walk or an earned run.
