Results

WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. - The Babson alpine ski teams completed their weekend of competition at the Plymouth State Carnival at Waterville Valley on Sunday, where the men finished third overall in the GS while the women placed seventh. For the men, it was their best finish since they took third in the slalom at Waterville Valley back on January 22, 2005.

Leading the men's outstanding finish were junior co-captains John Roche and Kevin Fusick, as Roche placed 13th overall while Fusick followed in 17th. First-year Max Winthrop also posted a top-20 finish, as he came in 20th overall. Rookie Keith Vella checked in at 24th for the Beavers, and sophomore Connor Lemenze completed Babson's scoring five with a 30th-place effort. Rounding out the lineup were sophomore Chris Jacobs in 33rd and first-year Enrico Palmerino in 58th.

First-year Alyssa Sullivan anchored the women's team with a finish of 16th, followed by classmate Alexis Burton in a tie for 22nd. Senior captain Jess Cohen came in 55th overall, with first-year Catherine Mills placing 59th and sophomore Tahira Adatia placing 72nd.
