BABSON PARK, Mass. - Sophomore Aaron Paradis and the Babson men's swimming and diving team closed out their regular season competition on Saturday, as the Beavers fell to visiting Springfield College, 129-92. Despite the loss, however, Paradis completed a spectacular undefeated season off the 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, as he once again swept both events.

Other Babson highlights included a first-place performance in the 100 back and a second-place effort in the 200 free by sophomore Ted Plaisted. Junior Thayer Glasscock added second-place finishes in both the 200 IM and 100 fly, while first-year Joel Bonina came in second in the 100 breast. Junior captain Philippe Noelting finished second in the 100 free and third in the 50 free, and junior Ari Gray added a third-place effort in the 1000 free.

The Beavers will now take a month off to prepare for the upcoming NEWMAC Championships, which will take place at MIT from February 29 to March 2. At that event, Paradis will be seeking his second straight conference title in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions, as well as his second consecutive NEWMAC Diver of the Year award.
