Wheaton Sweeps Dual Meet With Swimming and Diving

NORTON, Mass. - The Babson swimming and diving teams were swept in a dual meet at Wheaton College on Saturday. The women lost, 184-93, while the men fell, 155-119.

Sophomore Ted Plaisted led the men's team with an outstanding performance, as he recorded wins in the 50 and 200 free while finishing second in the 100 back. Junior captain Philippe Noelting added a pair of runner-up performances in the 50 back and 50 fly, while juniors Ari Gray and Thayer Glasscock also added second-place efforts in the 1000 free and 100 fly, respectively.

Senior co-captain Meg Lynch posted the lone victory for the women, as she won the 200 IM. Lynch also finished second in the 100 breast and third in the 100 fly, while first-year Mia Filippini took second in the 50 free and third in the 100 back and 50 fly.
