BAYLOR QUOTES

Scott Drew, BAYLOR HEAD COACH
Opening statement: Credit Texas for getting on the boards and getting to the free throw line. I thought they were more aggressive than we were, especially in the second half. They did a good job winning the game, and I don't think we gave it to them. They did a good job contesting our shots in the second half and I thought they did a better job pressuring our shots as well.

On the Texas lineup change: We knew both players (Dexter Pittman and Damion James) were going to play. Damion obviously had a very good game and he definitely hurt us, but the lineup change was not a factor.

On Justin Mason: He's a very good defender and he does all of the little things. That's what makes a great team, is having people do all of the little things.

Curtis Jerrells, JUNIOR GUARD
On the loss:
We made it easy on them because we had bad shots and quick shots. You have to move the ball around to get good shots.

On the losing streak to Texas: I think every time we play them, we should win. We always give ourselves a chance to win and then we give it up to them.

Kevin Rogers, JUNIOR FORWARD
On their first two-game losing streak:
With this conference, you have to bring your 'A' game every night. I think in our past two games we haven't played well. We have faced this before. We just have to get back in the gym and tweak some things and get that bite and hunger back that we had before these two losses. We just have to fine tune some things and we should be fine.

On their low post scoring: I wouldn't say I am pleased with our low post scoring because we still lost. But it definitely is a change from the last game to this one and it's good to see us make some strides.
