LAREDO, Texas - The Baylor men's golf team used a second-round 287 to jump four spots to sixth place overall with a two-round score of 583 at the Border Olympics at the Laredo Country Club. The Bears sit just three shots out of fourth place overall.

Arkansas leads the team standings, shooting 281 in the second round to post the day's best team score. Houston and USC-Aiken are tied for second just four shots back at 580.

Colton Williams holds the tournament individual lead at 7-under par. Williams carded a 4-under par 68 in the first round and followed it with a 69 in the second round to hold the two-round lead by two shots over UTEP's Roger Sloan.

Wes Williams finished the second round in a tie for 27th overall with a two-round total of 149. Williams shot even-par in the first round and carded 77 in the second round. Cody Paladino sits in a tie for 31st-overall at 6-over par. Paladino shot 78 in the first round and finished the second-round at even-par.

Jeff Gerlich shot 81 in the first round, but finished at even-par for the second 18-holes to finish in a tie for 48th at 9-over par. Jeff Campbell finished in a tie for 64th after finishing the first day at 13-over par. Campbell shot 83 in the morning round, and carded 74 during the second round of the day.

Bill Allcorn is tied for 31st-overall competing as an individual. Allcorn carded consecutive rounds of 75 to finish at 6-over par for the tournament. Michael McKinley, also competing as an individual, is in a tied for 56th overall at 10-over par. McKinley shot 81 in the first round and followed that with a second-round 73.
