Men's Golf in 15th at Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

AWENDAW, S.C. - The Baylor men's golf team shot 306 in the first round to finish the day in 15th place overall at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. The Bears, who tied for the team title at last year's event, sit 10 shots out of 14th place. South Carolina, the host school, leads the team competition at 4-under par after the first round, while Justin Harding of Lamar holds the individual lead by one shot at 4-under par. Bill Allcorn and Cody Paladino are tied for 61st overall at 5-over par after carding 76 on the first day. Colton Williams and Wes Williams both shot 77 to finish round one at 6-over par in a tie for 65th overall. Jeff Gerlich shot 79 on the first day to finish the first round at 8-over par in a tie for 71st place. The Bears return to action on Monday morning for the second round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.
