PARRISH, Fla. - Baylor's Natalie Hocott made the biggest improvement from the first round to the last as the women's golf team finished 14th at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla.

The Bears remained in 14th despite shooting their worst round of the tournament on the final day. After opening with a 317 and a second round 314, Baylor carded a final-round 325 to finish the tournament with a 956.

Hocott fired a 77 during her final round to leap from 67th to a 61st-place tie; she was the only member of the team to improve her individual standing during the final round.

Baylor was led by freshmen Lene Hafsten-Morch and Morgan Chambers. Hafsten-Morch collected Baylor's best finish with a 231 (77-75-79), good enough to finish tied for 26th, and was the only member to not shoot a round above 80 throughout the tournament.

Chambers finished tied for 58th after a final-round 85. For the tournament, Chambers shot a 242 (79-78-85)

The Bears will next be in action as they travel to March 7-9 when they travel to The "Mo" Morial Invitational held at The Traditions Club, in Bryan, Texas. The tournament is hosted by Texas A&M.
