Tribble Drafted by San Diego

April 27, 2008

Cornerback DeJuan Tribble became the third Boston College Eagle selected in the 2008 NFL draft when the San Diego Chargers chose him as the 26th selection (192nd overall) in the sixth round. Tribble joins Matt Ryan and Gosder Cherilus, who were first-round draft picks Saturday.

The Cincinnati native earned All-ACC second-team honors for the second consecutive season in 2007 and started 37 career games for the Eagles. He finished his BC career with 170 tackles and 15 interceptions and also served as a prolific punt returner (55 returns, 492 yards, one TD).
