Men's Ski Team Finishes 2nd and 6th in Plymouth State Carnival

For the men, it was sophomore Stephen Fiorella (Pleasantville, NY.) who led the Eagles in the slalom finishing in an impressive third place recording a time of 1:38.44. Sophomore Hugh Kirkpatrick (Shelburne, VT.), senior Shawn Radman (Layton, UT.) and freshman Chistopher Burgart (Honeoye Falls, NY.)all finished in the top 15 in the slalom. Less than four seconds separated the top four BC racers. Boston College held on to second place in the league standings for the slalom.

In the men's giant slalom the Boston College Men's Ski Team finished a disappointing sixth. Junior Andrew Simmons (Buffalo, NY) grabbed ninth place with a time of 2:19.06, while sophomore Stephen Fiorella (Pleasantville, NY.) finished in 11th with a time of 2:19.23.The Eagles dropped to third in the league standings, two points behind UMASS after this past weekend's performance.

Boston College Men's Ski Team will participate in the MIT Carnival this weekend on Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3.
