Soccer's Stephen Hepburn Earns 2007 All-ACC Academic Team Recognition

Feb. 8, 2008

Boston College junior fullback Stephen Hepburn has earned 2007 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Soccer Team honors, according to a league announcement.

Hepburn is a finance major who is a second-year honoree.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

Hepburn is a junior who played in and started all 21 games as a fullback last fall. He was a valuable component of a Boston College defense that recorded a 0.75 goals against average, which ranked second (behind Wake Forest) among all ACC schools.

Hepburn has played in 35 collegiate contests and has recorded 34 starts. He has tallied six points - two goals and two assists.
