Three athletes race at IC4A Championships

Princeton, N.J. -- The Boston College men's outdoor track team sent three of its members to compete at the 2008 IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held May 16-18, completing the 2008 outdoor track season.

Junior Timothy Ritchie ran his fastest time this season in the 5,000, clocking a 14:30.53 and placing 13th. His time is a personal best. Fellow juniors James LaGreca and David Emerson also competed at the event. Lagreca ran a 3:54.24 in the 1,500 placing 31st. Emerson ran in the 10,000, marking a 31:18.74 and taking 16th place.

New men's head coach Matt Kerr and his team will break for the summer before returning to cross country action, beginning in September.
