CHESTNUT HILL, MA -
Boston College women's soccer player Gina DiMartino was named to the roster of the US Women's Under-20 National Team for two weeks of training camp in Clemson, S.C. DiMartino will be with the team from May 12-27 to prepare for the CONCACAF Qualifying in June.
DiMartino, a sophomore, was the Eagles second leading scorer (2 goals, 5 assists, 9 points) this past season. She is one of 10 ACC players on the training roster.
The US team is coached by Tony DiCicco and the 26-player team will play a match on May 22 against the USL W-League Atlanta Silverbacks. DiCicco is preparing the team for the qualifying tournament that will take place in Puebla, Mexico, from June 17-28.
