Wildcats Complete Signing Class with Three Additions

Daytona Beach, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman University men's basketball has completed their 2008 men's basketball signing class with the addition of three students on Thursday afternoon.

One of the signees is Tyrel Adams, 6'9 Jr. Forward/Center (Hillsborough C.C./University of Missouri-St. Louis)

Tyrel gives us a legitimate center who is a good post defender and a solid rebounder. Offensively, he has good moves around the basket and can finish plays with either hand. His leadership, size and toughness will be a great addition to the program.

Averaged nine points, eight rebounds and two blocks

High School Stats...

McDonald's All American Nominee

2 time MVP for the Steelville Cardinals (Jr. and Sr. season)

J 98 Regional Player of the Year

3rd in the state of Missouri in blocks during Jr. season

The next signee is Kene Anusionwu, 6'8 Jr. Forward/Center, (North Idaho College)

Kene adds depth and experience at both the forward and center positions. His forte' is defense and rebounding, altering and blocking shots. Offensively, he runs the floor well, shoots the jump hook, offensive rebounds and shoots the 10ft jump shot. His defensive prowess enables him to make a major impact immediately.

These are Kene's College Accomplishments...

1st in blocks in the SWAC (Scenic West Athletic Conference)

5th in rebounding in the SWAC

Averaged seven points, seven rebounds, and 2.5 blocks

The third young man is Stanley Elliott 6'3 Fr. Shooting Guard, (Science Park, High School, Newark, N.J.)

Stanley comes to us from an outstanding high school program in the form of Science Park in New Jersey. He's a slim athletic wing who can shoot the open three-ball and create shots off the dribble. His long arms and leaping ability help aide his strong defensive prowess
