HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner at Strongsville High School • named honorable mention for the Pioneer Conference as a senior and was a 2007 All-Sun team honoree • was 4-0 for the Mustangs his senior season as he toed the rubber for 35 innings and had a 1.96 ERA • helped lead the Mustangs to three-straight PC titles and a Division I State Championship his junior year • was 2-0 on the mound as a junior • team was the runner-up in the Regionals this past season as they went 22-6.
