Friday Tennis Dual Moved to Shadow Valley

April 4, 2008

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - The Bowling Green State University tennis team's Friday (April 4) match has been moved indoors. Due to the inclement weather in the Bowling Green area on Friday morning, the Falcons will take on the University at Buffalo on Friday afternoon at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Toledo. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Shadow Valley is located at 1661 South Holland-Sylvania Road in Toledo. Directions are as follows:


DIRECTIONS TO SHADOW VALLEY
From Bowling Green (from the south)

* Take Interstate 75 North for approximately 10 miles
* At exit 192, take the ramp (LEFT) onto I-475 [US-23]; proceed approx. 8 miles
* Exit at Airport Hwy (exit 8) and turn right
* Turn right at the first light (Holland-Sylvania Rd)
* Shadow Valley will be on the left

The UB dual is the second in a three-match homestand for the Falcons of head coach Penny Dean. The Falcons will host Akron on Saturday afternoon (April 5), and that match is still scheduled to be held at BGSU's new tennis complex, weather permitting.
