IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma State freshmen swept the Golfer of the Month awards as Big 12 individual medalists Rickie Fowler and Jaclyn Sweeney received the monthly accolade for tournament play in the month of April. The award is Fowler's second on the season while this is Sweeney's first honor. The duo are just the second freshmen pair to sweep the monthly awards since 2002.

He has finshed in the top 10 of each of his nine career starts and was named Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Year.

Jaclyn Sweeney, Oklahoma State, Fr., Andover, Mass.
Sweeney earned her first career win with a four-shot victory at the Big 12 Championship at Karsten Creek Golf Course. The freshman also finished seventh at the PING/ASU Invitational on April 6.
