The game date for the 2008 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl was announced on Monday.

The 31st annual Pacific Life Holiday Bowl kicks off at 7 p.m. CST on Tuesday, December 30 at Qualcomm Stadium. The game will air nationally on ESPN for the 22nd straight year, and features the runner-up from the Pacific-10 Conference against the third selection from the Big 12 Conference. The 2007 game featured a 52-34 Texas Longhorns victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils in front of 64,020 fans.
