IRVING, Texas-- Amber Flores (Oklahoma) and Jamie Hinshaw (Texas A&M) have been named the Big 12 Co-Players of the Week while Ashly Jacobs (Texas Tech) picked up Pitcher of the Week honors for games of March 31-April 6, the conference announced. Flores is receiving her second career weekly award, while this is the first honor for Hinshaw and Jacobs.
CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Flores went 5-for-7 (0.714) from the plate last week helping Oklahoma sweep its weekend series with Missouri. The leadoff batter recorded a 0.857 slugging percentage with two RBI and six total bases while also leading the team with a .750 on-base percentage and scoring a team-best three runs. The sophomore also tallied five consecutive hits in her first five at bats. This is the second award of the season for Flores.
Jamie Hinshaw, Texas A&M, 3B, Sr., Missouri City, Texas/Elkins
Hinshaw was 5-for-7 with three runs scored, four RBI, a double and a home run in the Aggies' victories over Iowa State. The senior was responsible for five of A&M's 11 runs in the first game, going 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBI. With her stolen base in the first game, Hinshaw is now a perfect 12-for-12 on the season. The senior posted a 1.286 slugging percentage while increasing her overall batting average 21 points to 0.354.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Ashly Jacobs, Texas Tech, P, So., Houston, Texas/Cypress Creek
Jacobs went a perfect 2-0 on the week, leading the Red Raiders to their first-ever season sweep of Nebraska and their first victories over the Huskers in seven years. The sophomore pitched a complete-game shutout in the first match-up, striking out three while giving up just three base runners in Tech's 7-0 win. On Sunday, Jacobs threw 4.2 relief innings, including the three extra frames, and struck out three batters to pick up her second win. The Huskers hit just 0.158 in 38 at-bats against the Houston, Texas product.
