BOSTON - After earning All-America status with impressive performances at the women's indoor track NCAA Championship, seniors Marisa Ryan and Tahari James have been named the the GoTerriers.com Student-Athletes of the Week.

Ryan ran a 9:12.83 time in the 3000m, setting school and personal records while securing fifth place for the Terriers to close an impressive indoor season. Recently, Ryan was named the Female Track Athlete of the Meet at the America East Championship after finishing first in the 3000m and mile run. Last week, she was also named the USTFCCCA's Top Northeastern Women's Indoor Track Athlete.

James submitted a 13.42m jump at the NCAA Championship, earning her sixth place and setting a new school and career mark. This season, James earned America East Field Performer of the Week honors for consecutive weeks (Feb. 9 and 13) before placing in the top three in three events at the America East Championship, including the triple jump (first), 55m dash (second) and 200m dash (third).

The outdoor track and field season kicks off Saturday, March 22 at the Husky Invitational in Dedham, Mass.
