BOSTON - The Boston University men's basketball team will look to continue building momentum as the regular season winds down when the Terriers travel to St. Peter's (6-20, 3-12 MAAC) Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. The Terriers (11-15, 8-6 America East) are coming off a huge win over Maine, 73-54, while the Peacocks (6-20, 3-12 MAAC) suffered a last-second loss, 71-69, to Niagara University their last time out.

Boston University holds a 3-2 all-time series lead against the Peacocks. These two teams last met in 2001, a 70-58 victory for the Terriers. The Peacocks won an overtime thriller, 113-108, in the squads' first meeting back in 1974.

St. Peter's enters Saturday's action having dropped three of its last five games. The Peacocks are led by senior Todd Sowell's 12.4 ppg and 10.5 rpg. St. Peter's is 5-7 on its home court this season.

The BU offense has picked up steam, boasting four players in double figures for scoring. Sophomore Corey Lowe (Newton, Mass.) leads the Terriers with 18.0 ppg. Freshman guard/forward John Holland (Bronx, N.Y.) is the reigning America East Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive week. Holland solidified himself as a scoring threat last time out when he netted a career-best 23 points against Maine.

Last time out the Terriers' offense ran wild against Maine, 73-54, to pull off a season sweep. BU handed UM a 56-49 loss in Orono on Jan. 31. The BU offense was paced by Holland and Lowe who had 18 points. Boston dominated early as the Terriers jumped out to an early 11-0 lead on back-to-back threes from Holland and Lowe. An outstanding BU defense would force Maine to commit 22 turnovers in the game; the Terriers scored 23 points off the miscues. Boston University tallied a season-high 20 assists and 14 steals while cruising past Maine.

The Terriers will play their final regular season home game on Thursday, Feb. 28 when they welcome Hartford to Case Gym for a 7 p.m. showdown.
