WAKEFIELD, Mass. - After helping Boston University increase its nation-best win streak to six games with a weekend sweep over Northeastern, senior Bryan Ewing (Plymouth, Mass.) has been named the CCM/RBK Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. Ewing recorded three goals - including both game winners - and two assists in the two victories against the Huskies.

Thanks to its strong play of late, Boston University reentered the USCHO.com/CSTV national poll for the first time since October, as the Terriers are now ranked 16th.

Ewing shared the honor with UNH goaltender Kevin Regan. This is the second time Ewing has earned the weekly award this season.

In Saturday's 3-2 come-from-behind win over Northeastern, Ewing earned the primary assist on the game-tying goal before potting the game winner with just over eight minutes left in regulation. That performance followed a two-goal, one-assist effort in the Terriers' 7-4 road triumph on Friday in which his game winner was the first shorthanded goal of his career.

On the strength of his team-best 17 goals, Ewing is tied with classmate and linemate Pete MacArthur (Clifton Park, N.Y.) for the team lead in points with 36. His 32 points in Hockey East play lead the league.
