Forty-eight Terriers Named to Fall 2007 America East Academic Honor Roll
Feb. 2, 2008 A total of 48 Boston University student-athletes from five teams that compete during the fall were named to the America East Conference's Fall Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Thursday. Among those 48 included 18 Terriers who also were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll. To earn Academic Honor Roll status, a student had to earn a grade point average of 3.0 or above for the 2007 fall semester. To earn placement on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, the student-athlete's grade point average for that semester needed to be at least 3.5. The Terrier women's field hockey and women's soccer teams each had 14 representatives on the Academic Honor Roll, joined by 10 from men's soccer, eight from women's cross country and two from men's cross country. Women's soccer also placed seven members on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, along with four from field hockey, three each from men's soccer and women's cross country and one from men's cross country.
