Reilly Earns America East Co-Rookie of the Week Honors


Janie Reilly has earned her first career conference honor.

BOSTON - Red-shirt freshman Janie Reilly has earned America East Co-Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Reilly started both games in net last week for the Terriers, recording a 1-0-1 record and a .917 save percentage. Reilly picked up her second career shutout in the Terriers' 1-0 win over Brown and then turned in a six-save performance against Minnesota on Friday.

Reilly (Coral Springs, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) made 11 saves during the week and earned a 0.45 goals against average, while improving to 3-1-1 overall. She currently leads the conference in GAA (0.38) and save percentage (.917). On the national level, Reilly sits in 16th in GAA and 14th in save percentage.

This is the first conference honor for Reilly.

The Terriers will travel to Yale on Tuesday, Sept. 25 for a 7:00 p.m. contest before hosting Vermont in the conference opener on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1:00 p.m.
