BOSTON - Junior Marisha Schumacher-Hodge and freshman Stephanie Croghan have earned America East Player and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Schumacher-Hodge scored a goal and added two assists last week, while Croghan netted two goals in two games.

Schumacher-Hodge (Pittsburgh, Pa.) tallied four points in two games as the Terriers posted a pair of wins over conference opponents Maine and UMBC. She had two assists, including one on the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win at Maine Thursday. She followed that up with a game-winning goal on Sunday against UMBC. She now leads the offense with nine points on two goals and five assists.

Croghan (McLean, Va.) scored two insurance goals last week and now leads the team in goals (3) along with sophomore Casey Brown (Natick, Mass.). She scored her second career goal in the 68th minute as BU won, 3-1, at Maine. She also scored in the 16th minute against UMBC, after fighting off a defender and stripping the goalie of the ball. This week's honor marks Croghan's first conference accolade.

BU hosts Hartford on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
