COLUMBUS, Ohio - Facing its second ranked opponent of the year, the Boston University women's tennis team fell, 7-0, to No. 31 Ohio State Saturday afternoon at the OSU Varsity Tennis Center.

Sophomore Francine Whu was the only BU player to extend her play into a third set. Playing in the No. 1 position, Whu dropped the first set 4-6, but she earned a 6-2 win in the second set. Buckeye Angela DiPastina claimed the third set 6-0, however.

OSU won all three doubles matches.

BU returns to action on Sunday, March 30 when the Terriers take on Cincinnati in Ohio at 10 a.m.
