James Earns America East Field Performer of the Week Second Consecutive Time

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - After placing first in the long jump at the Valentine Invitational with a 6.04m mark and 12th in the 200m dash with a 25.12 time, senior Tahari James was named the America East Field Performer of the Week for the second consecutive time, as was announced by the league Tuesday. James out-jumped the closest competitor by 0.59m.

Last week, at the Battle of Beantown, James finished first in both the long jump (6.02m) and triple jump (12.66m) and third in the 60m with a 7.72 time to help the Terriers to a second place finish at the meet.

Next weekend, the Terriers will send representatives to the America East Championship, held at the Track and Tennis Center on Feb. 22 and 23.
