Providence, RI - Saturday's season-opening games for the Brown lacrosse teams have been postponed one day due to forecasted inclement weather. The men's lacrosse game against Lehigh, originally scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m., will now be played on Sunday at 12 p.m. at Meister-Kavan Field. Immediately following will be the women's lacrosse team's game against Sacred Heart, which will be played at 2 p.m. at Berylson Family Field. That contest had been originally scheduled for noon on Saturday.

Both games will be the first of the season for the respective teams. The women's lacrosse game will be the first contest held at Berylson Family Field since it was installed in August 2007, while the men's game will feature the debut of new permanent bleachers at Meister-Kavan Field.
