LEWISBURG, Pa. - A high chance of rain and snow in the forecast for Tuesday, Mar. 18, has forced the cancellation of Bucknell baseball's home opener. The Bison were slated to play their first game of the season on Depew Field against Niagara at 3:30 p.m., this afternoon. No make-up date has been announced.

Bucknell, which is currently 5-7-2 on the season, is next scheduled to face Mount St. Mary's at home on Thursday, Mar. 20, at 3:30 p.m. The Bison are 5-7-2 on the year and will be looking to snap a five game losing streak.

Looking ahead, the Orange and Blue will travel to Dover, Del., this weekend, Mar. 22-23, for a single game against Long Island on Saturday at 2:30, p.m., before playing a doubleheader versus Delaware State on Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m.
